The Project

{Altruism}: "Unselfish concern for the welfare of others; selflessness"

I believe there's good in the world. In fact, I believe it so much that I made it the focus of my senior project.

Where I live, Marion, Indiana, life is sometimes difficult, but relatively ordinary. Good things happen, bad things happen ... life goes on.

But what about the attitude behind the actions? What about selflessness, compassion? What about altruism?

Is it possible for such a beautiful ideal to actually change a community?
